To serve the rapid growth of southeast communities in Calgary, the Calgary Fire Department determined that a transferable structure that can be mobilized, stored, and moved to accommodate emergency response activities as required can be a great asset to the city, till the permanent fire station is completed. EMBE was engaged as mechanical and electrical engineering consultants to this transferable structure station. This structure has full HVAC systems, wiring, lighting, and insulation.
